You're invited to be a part of a global fellowship of pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders building bridges and making disciples around the world.

EFI Membership Overview

At EFI, we are committed to cultivating meaningful, relational connections that empower global impact. We view membership as a privilege and recognize that our community may not be the right fit for everyone. However, we offer a variety of membership options designed to support individuals, churches, and ministries in their unique callings.

Because we believe that authentic relationships are foundational, membership requires an ongoing—more than casual—connection with a current member in good standing. In addition, we value the importance of gathering together. We ask members to attend at least one regional meeting per year (where available), or our annual conference at least once every two years.

To help sustain and advance our global mission, we also ask each member to contribute 1% of their income as a financial commitment to the vision of EFI.

For Individuals:

We offer the opportunity to receive either a License for Ministry or full Ordination. These credentials affirm your calling and provide relational covering within the EFI network.

For Churches and Ministries:

Our membership includes the senior leader and their spouse, bundled together with the organization they lead. This ensures a cohesive relational connection between EFI and the local ministry.

501(c)(3) Group Exemption Coverage:

EFI holds a group exemption number from the IRS, allowing us to offer 501(c)(3) nonprofit status coverage to qualifying churches and ministries under our umbrella. To be considered for this coverage, you will need to submit the following documents:

STATEMENT OF FAITH

God’s Inspired Word

We believe the Bible, in its original form, was completely and fully inspired by GOD.

One God, Three Persons

There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus: Savior & King

We believe Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, is fully God and fully man. He lived sinlessly, performed miracles, and proclaimed God’s Kingdom. He was crucified, died for humanity’s sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, victorious over sin and death. He ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.

Salvation Through Christ

We believe that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through genuine repentance and faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

Baptism & New Life

We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward sign of an inward change. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is an act of obedience, publicly declaring one’s faith in Christ, and is an essential step in the process of salvation and spiritual growth.

Holy Spirit Power

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is a subsequent experience to salvation. It empowers believers for service, equips them with spiritual gifts, and enables them to live a victorious Christian life. This baptism is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit and often, but not always, by the speaking in tongues as a sign of God’s presence and power. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to be witnesses of Christ, to grow in holiness, and to engage in ministry.

Biblical Marriage Covenant

We believe the term “marriages” has only one meaning: the union of one man and one woman, as instituted by God. Marriage is a sacred covenant to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church. It is a lifelong commitment, established for companionship, procreation, and mutual support, and is to be entered into with honor, love, and respect.

Love & Compassion

We believe every person should be afforded compassion, kindness, and respect, As all are made in the image of God. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, showing grace and mercy to all, regardless of their background, beliefs, or circumstances. Every individual is deserving of dignity and care, reflecting the love and character of Christ in all interactions.

To Begin the Membership Process

If you’re interested in exploring membership with EFI, the first step is a phone call with our Executive Director, Debbie Dixon. Please contact her at 843-347-6184 to start the conversation.

Following this initial call, a determination will be made regarding your eligibility, and if appropriate, you will be sent the relevant application via email. The application is fillable online and, once completed, will be submitted directly to Debbie for review.
