A Letter From The Chairman
Greetings to my EFI family.
As we look in our focus for the year, I know there is a growing excitement for what could happen with God’s help. There is a growing anticipation within EFI for what is about to happen. I’ll be sharing in our upcoming Board retreat what I feel our next big challenge will be. I am excited and I look forward to how this will unfold in the EFI community.
God is going to use each church to do great things locally and globally. Now, more than ever, is a time to draw near to the Lord and trim away every distraction that competes with our redemptive potential. I will be sharing more very soon. Until then continue to put the Lord first in everything. Pray for me and the EFI Board.

Recent News
Pastors Tad and Treva Tankard, of Harvest Church in Washington, NC rejoiced Sunday, Jan. 14, as they ordained Pastor Brian Oliver, former Youth/ Children's Pastor as Lead Pastor. They also ordained David Waters for ministry as Executive Pastor and Caroline Gardner as Youth/Children's Pastor. Pastors Tad and Treva had served Harvest for 25 years and will reposition on Staff in Missions, Pastoral Care and Women's Ministry.
EFI celebrates Pastor Ben Gaulden, City Lights Church, as they recently had their inaugural Sunday. Pastor Gaulden said, “I am absolutely blown away at what God is doing at City Lights Church. Extremely honored and humbled that He has called me to pastor such a wonderful group of people. I can’t wait to see what God has in store!”
