Letter from the President
Greetings EFI family,
It has been so rewarding to participate in the EFI regionals in Macon, Spartanburg and last week in Florence. We have heard from missionaries and pastors about your global efforts. Rod Reid recently returned from Cuba with an encouraging report of God's activity there. Larry Cockerham returned from the Philippines and has already embarked on his trip to Nepal. I don't know how he does it. It is so gratifying to hear from our pastors in the regionals. Our churches are strong and growing. Ben Gaulden's new church in Spartanburg is doing well and Jordan Battani's Fall Line Church in Macon continues to grow. So many good reports of what God is doing.
That said, we all face obstacles along the way. That is not a sign of disobedience, but obstacles are a sign of life. We will have no more obstacles when we die. But I love the way Paul deals with the mistakes and bad things that have happened to him.
Phil. 3:13 TPT
I don't depend on my own strength to make it; however, I do have a compelling focus: I forget all about the past and instead fix my heart on the future. 14 I run directly toward the divine invitation to reach the heavenly goal and win the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.
God has given us all a divine invitation, so let us go forward together.
Love to all,
Phillip

Pastors Leadership Seminar 2024 Morelia, Mexico
Recently, I had the honor of traveling to Morelia, Mexico, where I was invited to participate in a pastors' leadership seminar organized by EFI Missionary Elaine Wilburn. Accompanied by my friend, Matt Christian, our decision to embark on this trip was deeply influenced by a call from the Holy Spirit, urging us to step out in faith.

The Simple Project is a children's book idea that Jeremy Michael Vess has developed based on a song of his called "Simple". The idea is to combine music and art into an incredibly colorful children's book, coloring book and accompanying song produced in both English and Spanish....
