New Beginnings International Training Center provides outreach programs in a rural community in the mountains above Montego Bay. These include after-school reading classes, a remedial summer school program for primary students, and an August first grade readiness review for low-performing basic school graduates. They also have a lunch feeding program and student sponsorship for two local basic schools. In addition, a residential mentorship program for young men 18-21 is offered.

Bryan & Mily Hutson

Bryan and Mily have been serving in Nicaragua since the year 2000. They are Church Planters and Coordinators for International Teams coming to Nicaragua to strengthen any of the dozens of newly planted Churches in the EFI Nicaragua Network.

Michael & April Havlin

EFI Missionaries Mike and April Havlin serve in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Bolivia. The Havlin's have planted multiple churches in Central America. One in Managua, Nicaragua is called Iglesia Cristiana Koinonia. It continues to grow again after more than half of our congregation has fled the country in the last few years. The Havlin's are also part of a bible-teaching radio program that reaches across Central America. In La Honda, Nicaragua, the Havlin's are supporting the building a structure to house a local congregation that has been meeting under a tree. Mike is the president of the local NGO board which allows him to travel to other places to minister and teach. Iquitos, Peru at the headwaters of the Amazon River basin is one of those places. The Havlin's planted a church there many years ago, and it is a thriving community of believers. April continues to be used greatly in the leadership of House of Hope International in Nicaragua and Honduras. They create hope and solutions for women being brought out of human trafficking and prostitution.

Elaine Wilburn.jpg

Elaine Wilburn

Elaine Wilburn, from Athens, TN, has been in central Mexico as a Missionary since January, 1985. Her ministry has been evangelistically oriented, based on social ministry (meeting needs). She has spent her time in hundreds of successful evangelistic campaigns, church planting and construction. The first 16 churches that Elaine helped to plant are now 57 churches, including missions of the churches. She invites churches and individuals to help her plant and construct these churches where only 8% of 2 million people know Jesus Christ as Savior. She primarily teaches in churches and conferences, and has organized 17 city-wide Pastors’ Leadership Conferences since 1999. She organizes a yearly Medical Brigade for a doctor in Texas who funds it and the medicines, and Elaine trains a staff of 9 volunteers, to hold with pastors in their villages. For 29 years she administrated a Christmas Toy Project for 700 needy children and taught pastors how to win new families to Christ with this project. She organized Morelia’s first Aglow International chapter in 2002, involving helping and evangelizing women. She became area president and served as national vice-president over leadership development for 7 years. She organized and held two of Aglow-Mexico’s national conventions in Morelia. For several years she has taught a course for young people on Perspectives for World Missions that she took at Regent University, and has taken 23 students on five short-term mission trips from Guerrero to the state of Michoacán to present structured evangelistic programs with songs, dramas, and testimonies, with pastors in different villages. She says she's had very dedicated and talented teams each time. The last one was in February 2020, with an historical event in the main plaza of Morelia with more than a thousand attending and making decisions for Christ. She gives God the glory as He leads and says these are her best years.

Iglesia Cristiana Salmo 91 (located in the community of El Espino, Panama) is the spearhead of a dream and calling in the lives of José and Milly de Jesús. The church began in April 2018, with the goal of training laborers for the work of the ministry, providing a place for ministries to function, and then going out to impact not only the local community, but the nation of Panama. This mission is well underway. A central part of the vision given to José and Milly from the Lord consists of ministering in homes and teaching Scripture to the children in the community. Alongside this work, they conduct an annual Vacation Bible School and provide English classes and tutoring, both in home and from the church class room.
